Blackwater
Blackwater is a five piece traditional Celtic band from the Lehigh Valley region of northeastern Pennsylvania. Its members have a rich tradition in Celtic, folk, classical and contemporary music and have successfully merged those individual influences into a unique and dynamic sound.

Blarney
Clare native Fintan Malone on banjo, cittern and mandolin, and Tom Brett of Sligo on guitar and bodhran. Folkies for more than 15 years.

The Boys of County Bucks
Celtic music featuring fiddle, guitar, banjo, whistles, bodhran and vocals. Available for hoolies, seísuns, kitchen parties, or any sort of musical gathering in and around southeastern Pennsylvania.

Brandywine Celtic Harp Orchestra
The Brandywine Celtic Harp Orchestra developed from the studio of Janet Jackson Witman, an outstanding teacher and performer on both the Celtic and classical harps.

Brennan and McGillian
"John Brennan plays guitar and John McGillian plays accordion," their Web site says. Uh-huh. And Pavorotti sings. Two of the finest trad artists in the Delaware Valley.

Mike Brill
He sings everything—Luka Bloom, The Pogues, The Grateful Dead, CSN, Beatles, Elvis Presley, Eagles, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd—but also traditional and rebel Irish songs.

Burning Bridget Cleary
Fiddlers Genna Gillespie and Rose Baldino met a few years ago at the traditional Irish music session at Granny McCarthy's in Bethlehem. With Rose's guitarist dad Lou, they formed the group. They have a rocking Celtic sound ... and there's some spirted dancing, too.

Cletus McBride & Company
Sometimes as a solo act, sometimes performing with the "company," Cletus sings and plays guitar (and also harmonica, banjo, mandolin, and tinwhistle). Rounding things out is Harold Dunn on fiddle, Cletus's sis Bernadette McBride Shane on vocals and percussion, including the bodhran.

Delaware Valley Celtic Harp Orchestra
With a large repertoire of traditional Irish and Scottish dance music, the 17th 18th century Irish harp repertoire and songs in both Irish and English, the Delaware Valley Celtic Harp Orchestra presents an exciting, varied program. The troupe is under the direction of Kathy DeAngelo, a well-respected performer, harper, teacher and harp event organizer.

Dennis & David
Traditional and rebel Irish music, and classic rock from the '60s and '70s.

Fisher & Maher
Danny and Andy play all over the darn place, like Jack Callaghan's in Allentown, Fiddler's Green in K of P, and various other watering holes throughout the region.

The Immortals
Posing the musical question, "Do you want to dance forever?" With this ceili band on stage, you bet!

Terry Kane
Want to hear old-style (sean nós) traditional singing? Terry Kane—a/k/a Treasa Ní Chatháin—is one of the best. She hosts the session at Granny McCarthy's.

The Malones
This link takes you to Tom Malone's Pub & Markethouse in Miltown Malbay (virtually, not in the flesh ... sadly). It also features info about the U.S.-based duo, "The Malones."

Martin Family Band
The band revolves around the fiddling Martin sisters, Emily and Melissa, along with their dad, Nelson, on guitar; mom, Elaine, on bass; drummer Earl Pyles, and guitarist Steve Hartman. The younger siblings join them on stage in turn, with song and dance winning the hearts of any audience. (From the band's Web site.)

McDermott's Handy
One of the finest and truest purveyors of Irish traditional music in the Delaware Valley, Dennis Gormley on half a dozen instruments, including flute, tinwhistle and guitar, Kathy on vocals, Celtic harp and fiddle. See them at Three Beans in Haddonfield on Thursday nights.

McHugh & Company
You've seen them at Emmet's, McGiliccudy's and Brittingham's, among many other DelVal Venues. Tom McHugh, with Nancy (McHugh) Fox, Ron Hurst, Johnny Rago and Eric Fox.

Peter McDonald
A popular balladeer who plays throughout the Delaware Valley, down the shore, and in New York.

Dave Miller
Music of Scotland, Ireland and North America. Specializing in playing for Scottish and Contra dancing.

Oliver McElhone
A very highly regarded performer, born in Derry, much in demand through the Delaware Valley. Frequently plays at such popular watering holes as Brittingham's.

Mick Moloney
Where do you start with Mick Moloney? What does he not do? Well known as a folklorist, musician, and radio and television personality. In 1999 he was awarded the National Heritage Award from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Next Generation
Founded by Kathy DeAngelo of McDermott's Handy and fiddler Chris Brennan Hagy, Next Gen provides young people an opportunity to learn and perform traditional Irish music. These kids can play.

Vince Schneider
A singer-guitarist, you'll see him summers down the shore. Billed as the "human juke box" because he apparently knows every tune in the book, and then some.

So's Your Mom
Around for more than 25 years, they've played all the best places.

Gerry Timlin/Timlin & Kane
Among the most popular performers on the circuit. Gerry is co-owner of the Shanachie Pub & Restaurant in Ambler, where he and Tom frequently perform.

Dan Yads
Dan Yads has a lifetime of experience performing in a wide variety of venues and most recently has included a complete Celtic repertoire. He performs solo throughout the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania, the Poconos and New Jersey.
