Tapography Dance Studios will host an Irish step dance master
class with the current star of Riverdance, Marty Dowds.

Reservations are required and space is extremely limited for the class, which will take place Saturday, May 19 at Tapography Studios, 2111 Sansom St. The class runs from 11 a.m. 'til 12 noon.

Please bring tap shoes or Irish dance shoes, if you have them.

The cost is $25 to step out with Mr. Dowds; $10, if you just want to observe.

Dowds is from Donegal. He began his Irish dancing career at
the age of 9 with the Phoenix School of Irish Dance.  Marty has had a very successful competitive career, having taken the titles of many international, All-Ireland, and British National and World Championship competitions. 

Marty's time with Riverdance has taken him through Europe, the Far East, Russia, and North America, and included a memorable stay on Broadway for 18 months.  The most memorable highlight of Marty's career so far was both dancing on the Great Wall of China and the Kremlin in Russia.
