Enter the Great Mickmail Sign-Up Contest
Published: Sep 8, 2007
Just over 500 of you know what Mickmail is—it’s our free e-mail newsletter, stuffed nearly to bursting with links to our stories, photos, audio, video (and the new Irish Philly blog). If you want to know what’s going on in Irish Philadelphia, you need to get Irish Philadelphia Mickmail.
We publish Mickmail two or three times a month—we don’t fill your in-box with e-mails every time we sneeze. We also do not share your e-mail addresses with anyone else, nor do we collect any information about you other than your e-mail address.
Best of all—it’s free.
Better yet—from now until October 16, new subscribers, and existing subscribers who forward Mickmail to a friend, will be entered in our contest. The winner will walk away with two tickets to see the great Irish fiddler Eileen Ivers, formerly of Cherish the Ladies and the Riverdance band, in concert on Friday, November 9, at the Sellersville Theatre. If you’ve never seen Eileen Ivers in concert, then you’ve been missing out on one of the most exciting and engaging performances in Irish music.
We’ll select the winner October 16.
The rules are simple:
- If you don’t currently receive Mickmail, sign up. Subscribing is easy. If you’re on our Web site, go to the “Get Our E-Mail Newsletter” box in the upper right-hand corner of any page on the site. Just type in your e-mail address, press the “Join” button, and you’re in. Or, if someone has forwarded Mickmail to you, click on the link at left that says: Join our mailing list. (Note: You may receive a follow-up e-mail from us asking you to confirm your subscription.)
- If you already receive Mickmail, you can enter by forwarding it to a friend. (IMPORTANT: You must click on the link at the bottom of Mickmail that says: Please send Mickmail to a Friend.)
Remember, the contest ends October 16.
